Termites
When termites are present in a structure they will need a moisture source which they obtain by going back to the ground, bringing moisture with them, or by using moisture found in the structure due to leaks, condensation, or lack of ventilation. They feed on cellulose-based material like wood, books, boxes, furniture and drywall coverings.
Spider's
Spiders often find their way inside our homes. Externally they tend to be around eves, windows, door frames, gutters, fence capping's, patio's and out buildings ect. They can be brought in on washing. Some spider's do have nasty bites and can cause serious illness.
Cockroaches
Cockroaches can contaminate food, utensils and preparation areas with droppings, vomit and skin sheds. Additionally, wherever a cockroach infestation occurs is usually accompanied with a foul odour, caused by their bodily secretions and can trigger allergic reactions, asthma and other illnesses, especially in children.
Ant's
There are hundreds of native species. In their natural environment they are important in contributing to the recycling of nutrients to the soil. However, some Ants are pests and can be a real nuisance in the home and garden, while others can be dangerous to humans and animals by delivering painful bites and stings.
Rodents
Rats and Mice are known to carry disease and cause damage by chewing on materials, urinating on food and eating stored foods. They are excellent climbers and jumpers, and can squeeze through very small gaps. They can be often heard in the afternoon/ night scratching in the roof.
Flea's
Fleas feed off the blood of humans and animals and are common with pet owners. Not only can they infest your pet but carpets, pet bedding and also survive well outside in sandy soils. It is very important that floors/ carpets/ rugs are vacuumed and bed/ pet linen washed in hot water before we carry out our treatment as well as treating your animal.
